“The launch of the Pinterest NYFW hub gives us another opportunity to bring inspiration from the runway in New York to women across the country,” said Lisa Pomerantz, Senior Vice President, Global Communications and Marketing, Michael Kors. “It’s important for Michael to be able to connect with his fans and customers. Our ‘Lights. Camera. Fashion!’ Pinterest board illustrates how Michael would dress a woman for New York’s fashion week: glamorous, sexy and daring.”
According to Katie Garlinghouse, head of community at Pinterest. More than two million fashion pins appear on Pinterest every day. On the Fashion Week hub, users will discover boards about the details inspiring the latest collections, suggestions on how to wear them, and behind-the-scenes access to some of the biggest shows.

Style will provide trend alerts on-air, detailing pins from fashion influencers and directing viewers to Pinterest. A “Just Pinned” feature will be embedded in the dedicated Fashion Week section on StyleNetwork.com which also links to the network’s Fashion Week Pinterest board.
Pinterest also announced that New York Fashion Week is just the start. In the coming weeks, Pinterest will be joining with participants from London, Paris and Milan Fashion Weeks to customize brand content and coverage from those events.
