Bright knitwear, multifunctional garments, and textured layering pieces are the sound of the season for M. Patmos who revealed its fall 2012 eco-fashion collection on Thursday. ©Emma Grady says: “I think everything in the collection is something you can wear right now,” Patmos told TreeHugger. “That’s the goal really, to find something new that you just want to buy because you don’t have that exact thing but want a new, unique version of it.”

At Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in Madrid Spain, the talented Spanish Designer IXONE ELZO, presented a marvelous and excellently well structured collection, therefore making his mark in the fashion industry. The fashion circus is over for this time as you know having read Sabrina’s post from yesterday and as hectic as they are (especially if you are, as I was, reviewing some of the shows over at Bon.se and trying to get the review up within two hours) they are also great fun. In many ways Sweden’s men are the true fashionistas of Sweden, so a proper look at what was happening over the three days that go under the name of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Stockholm needs to include the biggest fashion street style trends for male consumers. On the first day of the week, at Filippa K Man, designer Morgan Sundberg explained to me that the turtle neck was back. Mercedes-Benz Spring/Summer 2012 Schedule

Mercedes-Benz released a preliminary list of designers showing at Lincoln Center in just over a month. J. Crew is a notable new addition to the uptown hub of runway-fueled fracas, after showing its coed Fall 2011 collection in March at the West Village’s Industria studios. Other designers debuting at Lincoln Center’s Damrosch Park digs on the UWS include Candela, EMERSON, Falguni Peacock, Honor, Rafael Cennamo, Katya Leonovich and VLOV. After making a stateside debut last season at an off-site space, Pink Tartan is headed to the tents this time around.
